Richard D. Hayes, JD, PRP
Richard D. Hayes is a trial lawyer and partner at Hayes, Berry, White & Vanzant, LLP. He specializes in the areas of eminent domain, real estate litigation, construction, government, and civil trial litigation. Previously, he was a briefing attorney for the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. He is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law and Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Hayes serves on the boards of the North Texas State Fair Association and the North Texas Mobility Corporation. He previously served on the Boards of the Denton Public Schools Foundation, Orant Charities, Longhorn Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Texas Woman's University, and Denton County Elections Commission. He is a Professional Registered Parliamentarian, a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians, past President of the Texas State Association of Parliamentarians, and a member of the American College of Parliamentary Lawyers. Mr. Hayes earned a B.B.A. from Texas Christian University, an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University, and a J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law. He and his wife, Helen, have five children and seven grandchildren. They live in Hickory Creek, Texas.
