Mr. Barrick has been credentialed as a Professional Registered Parliamentarian (PRP) by the National Association of Parliamentarians since 1999. In this capacity, he is an expert in Robert’s Rules of Order and assists governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and political parties with their governance and group decision-making. His clients have included the National Press Photographers Association, the Nevada Association of Realtors®, the City and County of San Francisco, and various state and national non-profit organizations. He has assisted his clients with consultations for business meeting and conventions, elections, extensive bylaws revisions, strategic planning, board member training, and professional parliamentary opinions. Mr. Barrick is also a charter member of the American College of Parliamentary Lawyers and is currently serving his first term as their President.
Mr. Barrick has practiced law in California, Nevada and Utah since 2003, practicing primarily in litigation arising from contract disputes, personal injury and entity formation. In addition, Mr. Barrick is accredited to practice before the Department of Veterans Affairs, admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals of Veterans Claims and is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates (NOVA).
